Burned in Dragonkind? Start Your Retry Timer
Tap the button as soon as a dragon burns you. The timer runs in this tab, and your browser pings you when the wait is over.
DRAGONKIND RETRY TIMER
4:00:00

How long is the wait?
Plan on about 4 hours. After the burn, the game tells you to come back "in a few hours". The player we watched then saw a 4:00 countdown on the home screen and said out loud that it was 4 hours.
Some sites say the wait is 4 minutes. We think that's the same 4:00 read the wrong way. If your countdown is different, change the wait above.
Why you keep getting burned
- The wrong red. Reds are the ones that burned players in the runs we saw. If a red growls and isn't warming to you, backing off is fine.
- Running at the end. In the run that bonded, the dragon tested the player with a roar. The player roared back and climbed on.
- Server errors. A "Stand by" screen isn't a burn. Refresh and you keep your place.

Questions people ask
How long do you have to wait after dying in Dragonkind?
About 4 hours. The game says to come back in a few hours, and the run we watched showed a 4:00 countdown.
Is it 4 minutes or 4 hours?
We believe 4 hours. The game's own words are 'a few hours', and the player in the video said 4 hours.
Does the timer keep running if I close the tab?
The end time is saved on your device, so it's still right when you come back. You only get the ping if the tab is open.
Does 'Stand by' mean I died?
No. That's a server error. The game says nothing is lost. Refresh and keep going.
